Bill is a native of Glendale who attended and graduated from Tolleson Union High School in 1965. He enlisted in the Navy and served from April 1968 to January 1972. He is a Vietnam Veteran and reached the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class, Avionics Tech (E-5).  In 1977 he graduated from ASU College of Engineering.  He has been Post 6310 Chaplain from 2017 to present.  Beside being a VFW member, Bill volunteers his time with the Northwest Community Church Leadership Team as an Adult Sunday School Teacher.
