VIDAL AGUILAR WAS BORN IN CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA ON JUNE 5, 1946 BUT RAISED IN ELOY, ARIZONA. HE PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 20, 2021. HE SERVED IN VIETNAM THE ARMY FROM 1966-1967 IN 2ND BATTALION 34TH ARMOR, 4TH INFANTRY DIVISION AS A TANK DRIVER. VIDAL'S ARMOR GROUP WAS KNOWN AS THE "FIGHTING ACES" AND HAD A NICKNAME OF "DREADNAUGHTS." HE RECEIVED WOUNDS AND WAS AWARDED A PURPLE HEART. HE WAS A LIFE MEMBER OF VFW POST 6310 AND AS A SERVICE OFFICER HELPING FELLOW VETERANS. IN PRIVATE LIFE, VIDAL WORKED FOR THE U. S. POSTAL SERVICE FOR 41 YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS CRACKING JOKES. HE WILL BE MISSED.
